9 Secrets to Thriving

I dedicated three years to researching the key strategies that make us resilient. During that time, I travelled over 35,000 miles around the world to interview 50 of the world’s most resilient people. I call them our ’50 Thrivers’. Each of these Thrivers had faced adversity, but rather than be diminished in the face of trauma, they bounced forward to live a life that was deeper and more meaningful than before. I was lucky enough to spend hours with these remarkable people, in a bid to understand if they had insights that you and I could apply to thrive in our own lives, regardless of the minor – or even the more significant challenges – we might face. I found that we can all live by 9 key principles to empower us to grow in the face of all adversity, large or small. In my book ‘9 Secrets to Thriving’ I share the inspiring stories of the 50 Thrivers and their practical insights so that you can apply them to thrive, just like I have.

The True You

Do you feel as if you are not quite living up to your full potential, that you are overly concerned by what others think of you? Do you sometimes lack confidence, or feel overwhelmed by the demands of life or underwhelmed by its’ rewards? If any of that is true for you, The True You is the book for you!

Having coached hundreds of leaders over the past 20 years on goals related to their work and life, I’ve found that these feelings and tendencies usually come from living according to our conditioning, rather than living authentically. Being clear about who you are authentically is the key to building confidence and self-acceptance and obtaining clarity about the contribution you are able to make at work, in life and in your relationships. That’s the process I write about in The True You. I set out the steps for discovering who you truly are so that you can feel calmer, happier and more fulfilled. I also share the golden rules for building great relationships with others, and how to overcome anxiety and fear, and remain resilient for the rest of your authentically lived life.
